Gucci
One of the world's leading fashion brands has been involved in two NFT releases in 2021. In March 2021, Gucci experimented with launching a sneaker in the form of Augmented Reality (AR) which retailed for US$11.99. However, these AR sneakers are not an official Gucci collection.
Two months later, in May 2021 to be exact, Gucci released its first official NFT in the form of a short film to commemorate Gucci's 100th anniversary.
This four-minute short film not only commemorates their anniversary but also contains a collaboration teaser with Balenciaga. This short film was sold at a price of US $ 250,000.
Louis Vuitton
To celebrate the 200th anniversary of its founder, Louis Vuitton released an NFT game called “Louis the Game”. The game depicts Vivienne, a Louis Vuitton icon, who explores the world of animation and collects candles for a birthday party.
