Science Lovers - Now you can mix n match furniture IKEA without a need to move from home. Swedish furniture company has soon launched an application that allows smartphone users to design the interior of the room in accordance with their tastes.
As reported by the Nine page, an application called IKEA Place that uses augmented reality technology (AR). In its release, this app is claimed to automatically scale up the product based on the dimensions of the room with an accuracy rate of 98 percent.

"The AR technology is so precise that you can see the texture of the fabric, as well as the light and shadows on your furniture," IKEA writes.
The app also lets users select 2,000 products and even save and send videos or photos of their design room. The plan for the new IKEA Place will be available on iOS at the end of September.
