Called “MetaTerrace”, the first restaurant in the world that carries the metaverse concept has been present since December 30 yesterday.

Metaverse Restaurants in Dubai
Based on a report from Gulfnews, Wednesday (12/29/2021), Dubai-based crypto consulting company, ColossalBit, has launched a metaverse restaurant to provide visitors with an overview of the virtual world.
Called “MetaTerrace”, the first restaurant in the world that carries the metaverse concept has been present since December 30 yesterday.
“Based on the metaverse, the restaurant lounge offers nightlife enthusiasts, the blockchain community and thrill-seekers a unique opportunity to glimpse what the digital future will look like,” said a ColossalBit spokesperson.
It is known, the restaurant already has a special virtual reality (VR) room to facilitate a metaverse experience for its visitors.
There visitors will enter an “alternative” world to meet other people who share the same passion, about NFT and crypto.
“With spectacular views like the Burj Khalifa and Dubai, combined with the option to transact and place orders across most cryptocurrencies and blue-chip NFTs, MetaTerrace has all the capabilities to become the hub of Dubai's crypto world, where enthusiasts and innovators can launch their projects, hold meetings and uphold the community spirit,” said Ciro Arianna, Co-Founder and CEO of ColossalBit and MetaTerrace.
Ciro also considered that currently NFT and the metaverse are still like the tip of the iceberg. The full potential of these two sectors is yet to be seen and how this will affect the future.
Starting from Facebook
Undeniably, all the hype and high interest in the metaverse started from the steps of Facebook Inc. who decided to change their image to Meta Inc., started their big step to focus on the virtual world.
From there, the majority of metaverse-related crypto projects have become hot stuff. Purchased on such a large scale that the price of the associated token has skyrocketed even though most of the crypto market is correcting.
What this will be like in the end, of course, is still a very interesting thing to observe. 2022 is coming soon, this is the first step of everything.
