Bitcoin
The bitcoin logo has changed several times. The initial look that Satoshi Nakamoto introduced in 2008 was quite simple, like a gold coin with the letter BC on it.
The new logo was introduced in 2010 with a design without the letter C and the addition of a dollar line. However, the public's reaction was not very good because it was considered similar to the Thai currency symbol, the Baht.
Phil Wilson helped design the Bitcoin logo that is known today, which is a dollar line with a $ symbol that has been stamped into the ground by Bitcoin, indicating bitcoin's monetary dominance. The orange circle background means that Bitcoin has no end and will stand out from other currencies.
The geometry of the letter B design that is rotated 13.88 degrees to the right sends a message that the Bitcoin blockchain will continue to evolve in the future.
Ethereum
The Ethereum logo is in the shape of an octahedron designed by Richard Stott, Creative Designer of Ethereum. According to him, there is no specific source of inspiration for the design or meaning of this crypto logo.
Stott revealed that he was lucky that the Ethereum design project involved open and honest people, so the visual communication of the logo could work well.
Meanwhile, Olusegun Ogundeji from Cointelegraph mentioned that the octahedron is the most suitable form to represent energy, healing, and manifestation. Energy will flow from both the upper and lower sides with equal force, while the eight sides will flow additional gentle energy.
Binance Coin
The Binance Coin logo is designed from two rhombus-like blocks placed overlapping on top of a large block. The design means Binance is an exchange platform that brings together supply and demand.
Meanwhile, the three small blocks in the middle that make up the chain represent the trading blockchain. The crypto logo created horizontally and vertically gives the impression of Binance as a balanced and fair platform.
Uniswap
The Uniswap logo is one of the most unique among other cryptocurrency logos. They used a pink unicorn symbol for their logo. The unicorn was chosen because it represents Uniswap as a strong DEX protocol and continues to evolve by providing ideas and solutions from time to time.
