As reported by the Twitter account Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG), Sunday (11/12/2016), the earthquake occurred at 9:50 pm. The epicenter occurred at sea, 18 km East-Pidie Sigli, Aceh.

The epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 10 km. From Saturday (11/10/2016) until this morning Pidie Jaya has been shaken by an earthquake three times that at 15:43 pm, at 23:42 pm, and at 9:50 pm, Sunday morning.
Until Sunday (11.12.16) afternoon recorded have occurred as many as 74 aftershocks since the earthquake of 6.5 on the Richter Scale (SR) centered in the area of Pidie Jaya, on 7 December.
