This interesting view comes from SkyBridge Capital Founder Anthony Scaramucci, who sees Algorand as a challenger to the major players in the crypto industry.
This will look like the early days of Google in the era of internet presence that is able to hit its competitors and shot up the top position as a leading company in the internet and information sector.
Scaramucci also claimed to have invested heavily in ALGO coins because he judged, this will occupy the top position and increase its value in the future.
"I have a quarter of a billion dollars in Algorand now. I think Algorand is going to be Google. You and I, when we were younger, we logged on to the internet using AltaVista... Then look at 1998, this company came up called Google and people were like, 'Why do I need that? I have all the other instruments to access the internet,' and then people say, 'You know this faster. It has a learning machine, a broader algorithm'... Look, Google [is now] beating everybody, and I think it's going to happen to Algorand," Scaramucci said.
Prioritizing transaction speed and low transaction costs, Algorand is clear he sees it will be able to outperform Ethereum.
According to him, once large companies start glancing at tokenization and decentralized finance (DeFi) activities, they will look for the measurable, safest, and decentralized.
Algorand is considered able to provide it all, where users will also not worry about something like inflation-deflation for the exchange of values in the network.
