The technology can measure the human heartbeat using video. Technology named Vital Sesing Constactless exhibited in Japan Wonder Solution. In addition, the technology also makes it possible to give an idea of the tension and stress through a video.
In order to measure heart rate, this technology will use light reflection changes of the skin. Reflections caused by blood that was attacked was hot. The amount of light that can be absorbed itself is different. Because that allows to measure heart rate by estimating the contraction of blood vessels which then causes the brain waves.
"It is possible to not only use but also face some other areas that make the skin can be seen," said the Panasonic, citing Japan Today, Wednesday (03/01/2017).
The technology does not require a camera, but the performance of normal webcam is enough. "We are aware that the accuracy of measurement equivalent to that used in medical equipment," he added.
